Recruiters
|
In spite of unemployment levels still being high and some major firms which continue to lay off large numbers of employees, I hear of companies who have such a hard time finding people with specialized experience, that they are dissatisfied, and have increased interest in training semi-qualified candidates, who have that desire. They are also increasingly realizing the abilities of experienced recruiters to find closely targeted candidates thru the techniques of networking and resourcefulness. Windows of opportunity on highly specialized candidates can still be narrow and the old axiom still is true "Everyone wants what everyone wants, and No one wants what nobody wants. " What I seek are established recruiters who, perhaps like me, are lone wolves, operating from their home offices, who value the concept of networking and sharing of information on jobs, and candidates. I spend much of my time recruiting and developing leads from hiring employers. I have the resources to share information on 3700 recruiting firms and agents, and do so almost daily with over a dozen with whom I share info on candidates and jobs. With recruiting partners who have email, internet access, and websites, we can share information much faster about jobseekers, and jobs. My experience tells me over and over that its easier to qualify larger numbers of technically oriented jobseekers with a cooperating group than it is to do it alone. You have all heard the cliche "fifty percent of a split fee is better than 100 percent of a fee on a placement you missed because the firm hired from another recruiter." My clients have needs in engineering, (chemical, civil, structurail, electrical, mechanical, industrial & manufacturing eng - math & physics) research and development, product design, quality, purchasing, packaging, market development, sales and marketing, operations, automation, robotics systems, commercial & industrial construction, finance, database applications. You can see details of these jobs by clicking on the open jobs link in the main paragraph. I have massive resources of available talent, and maintain a database of 53,865 people, many of whom are bilingual and some who would be willing to move almost anywhere in the country, some, the world. I would also like to find established recruiters who are receptive to getting candidates from me, and who in turn will make effort to find qualified candidates for specific jobs which, from time to time, I will email to those firms. Preferably you work in design, manufacturing, engineering, controls, automation biotech, metal fab, electronics, or distribution and logistics, and areas mentioned elsewhere on this site, which represents my mainstream practice. I can search my database of 53,865 candidates based on education, employer, products, function, college attended, city, state, name, language, and salary of course. Many of these people are registered professional engineers, many have MBA degrees, CPA's, advanced technical degrees, and current passports, security clearances. Over 1450 have PhD degrees. I have 21,390 resumes on disc and 3735 of which have detailed cover letters touching on scope.magnitude, location. salary, role, etc, can search them all almost instantaneously for any character string. This means that I can find every resume with ANY word ( like photonics for example) or bring up any resume by city, state, education, employer, product, process, etc. This makes me extremely targeted in my referral process. If you become a member of my informal network you might receive those from me. If you have strong corporate contacts and have details on jobs from those who want to hire now, then email me your name, your corporate affilliation, and some particulars of your background and area of speciality. I generally do not work on fees of less than 25% of base annual salary, and split fees 50-50% on receipt. |
