If you or your firm has the perception or requirement that you have to be able to 'like' me in order to do business with me, let me advise you of the following...

First, I believer that there should are many other priorities which should supercede any need to 'like' me, like knowing my professionalism, my integrity, my values, the scope of my resources, my effectiveness, the accuracy of my perceptions and judgments, my timeliness, and ultimately my ability to produce results to your standards, on time and within your budget.

For the record let me state that : 1. I would never recruit from a firm with whom I have a relationship to generate candidates.

2. I never, ever go back and contact someone whom I placed with a firm to induce him or her to leave to go to another employer..

3. I always seek to enhance the businesses with whom I am involved, treating their people, their resources, and especially their time.. as tho it were my own.

5. Also, for the record, on a personal note. I have been married to the same woman for 44 years in June of 2007 , have 4 children, all of whom are grown and live elsewhere, one of whom is married.

6. My office is in my home. When I am awake, I am engaged in reviewing some of the dozen or more resumes per day I receive, running searches on my resume archive, answering some of the more than 380 emails per day I receive, answering questions from affilliates about candidates I have submitted for their jobs, forwarding resumes to affilliates across the country, posting jobs to or updating this website, backing up files, my database, or working on a book which I am writing.

7. I have no secretary, no waiting room, no call screening. I am a man of my word insofar as possible. I do my best to accomplish what I say that I will do. I keep all communications in total confidence when asked to do so.

8. I may share your jobspec with candidates whose emails I may have, and whom in my opinion, have credentials which I feel are a good match with any open job spec for which you are actively soliciting closely targeted candidates.

9. I am a political conservative, but not a joiner. I am not active in any church, (no time for that) do not speak at professional nor trade association meetings, do not play golf with my clients, generally do not venture out to visit with clients face to face, but welcome the opportunity to do that.

10. I recognize that doing business with International firms or those doing business globally requires a certain sensitivity, and flexibility and believe that I am capable of that.. I over communicate in efforts to insure that I understand my clients needs and that I am on track for accurate, timely and effective completion of objectives which I have been given.

11 I speak fluent Spanish, some French, some German having spent some years in Costa Rica.
I am in excellent health, a non-smoker, snow skier, power boater, and active gardner, landscaper.

12. My interests include creative writing, chess, power boating, and I have travelled over much of the world having visited 42 countries around the globe. Lastly, I am American born and bred, never served in the armed forces, but am a Patriot in every sense of the word, love my country, my flag, my God, and my family.
