One of my affiliates has a client seeking this EHS specialist. from an FDA regulated products co.
which includes any food, cosmetics, biotech, medical devices, contact lenses & solutions,
essential oils, but not electronics, machinery, industrial chemicals, polymers nor plastics,
ceramics, construction matls.. etc.

DESCRIPTION: This position is with a food and consumer products company and will
be responsible for providing a broad range of technical EH&S assistance to line operations.
Duties include: · Developing Health, safety and environmental programs, procedures and
training; · Conducting contractor training and audits;
· Conducting industrial hygiene exposure monitoring; Assisting with environmental permitting;
· Coordinating EHS date management requirements for monthly safety statistics, annual EHS
reports, other EHS KPI’s; Conducting regulatory compliance and audit program follow-up;
· Conducting insurance inspections follow-ups; Serving as the environmental and safety officer
for the site; Conducting regular program assessments and providing assistance for self-inspections.

EDUCATION: 4-year degree required; Industrial or Mfg Safety or related discipline preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Must have 4+ years of experience in coordinating safety programs
in a manufacturing environment; Must have 5+ years of experience in chemical, food
or consumer products industries; Must have experience interpreting regulatory requirements,
implementing and coordinating OSHA compliance programs, and knowledge of fire protection;
· Experience coordinating facility wide site security activities is preferred; Must possess excellent
verbal and written communication skills. Must be computer competent in Word and Excel, & with
bility to develop proficiency in other computer applications.
