My affiliates client in Arkansas is seeking: Manufacturing Engineer responsible for
production processes for both existing product and new product introduction at mid south
location. Company has an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing professional
to join our company. Under the direction of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, this
position provides extensive support to operations personnel by recommending best machining
practices, equipment and tooling.

As a key member, the Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for implementing key projects to
improve capacity and productivity, while maintaining and supporting efficient operations.

Critical Tasks/Responsibilities Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.
Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, work flow, designs layout of
equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. Analyzes process to pro actively identify
any problems, identify root causes and apply timely schedule driven solutions. Confers with
planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.

Confers with suppliers to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of
equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality
standards. Estimates production times, staffing, and related costs to provide information for management.
Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production
schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes. Applies statistical methods to
estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential. Extensive participation in project teams. Provides
on-floor support to Production areas on a daily basis.

Min Quals BSIE or MFG Engineering is required. Min 5 years experience
in CNC programming, fixture and tooling implementation/recommendation in a metal working
environment with knowledge in Metrology a plus. Minimum of 4 years experience in a Lean
Manufacturing environment. 5 years minimum experience in justifying capital projects associated
with machining and tooling required. Six Sigma Belt preferred.

Position requires excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to actively participate and facilitate group meetings. Must be a self-starter with the ability
to handle multiple projects. Periodic travel required.
