One of my clients in Ark has immediate need for: Refrigeration Engineer

We are looking for a quality and detail oriented person who takes pride in producing highly
accurate work efficiently while meeting deadlines. Work and play in the beautiful Ozarks, with low crime,
lower cost of living compared to most places, great schools, and lots of golfing and fishing nearby.
Your primary function is to produce high quality fluorocarbon refrigeration systems designs, drawings,
and documentation in support of Our Vision, Mission, and Core Values.

You should be • A quick learner. • Be able to work without direct supervision. • Be willing to do
repetitive work. Work well in a team environment. Have good written and verbal communications.
Strong computer skills. You report to the Director of Mechanical Design; and usually to a program
manager and/or program coordinator for project work.

This position is based in Arkansas. Your duties will include the design and production of construction
documents for refrigeration design, line sizing and controls for both new and existing buildings.
Close coordination with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection and
civil disciplines will be critically important. Some travel before and/or after design may be required.

Education requirement: BSME from an accredited college or university. may consider
BSEE with direct industry experience. Required experience: Ideally 5-7 years of experience
working in a consulting firm or refrigeration manufacturer designing fluorocarbon based refrigeration
systems for commercial buildings.

Required skills: • Thorough knowledge of refrigeration theory.
Good understanding of refrigeration controls. • Comprehensive proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word.
Comprehensive proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel. • Thorough knowledge of code requirements.
Desired experience: • Commercial refrigeration field experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Your work environment is mostly in the office. Work days of 10 to 14 hours in length,
or more, may occur. Ability to work in an office setting, use standard office equipment, and communicate
effectively in person over the telephone. Must be able to understand complex project scheduling,
various types of graphs, and be able to visualize the final product of your work.
