Sales Rep Ion Exch Resin $85 plus incentives PA 22 Mar 2008

One of my clients seeks to fill this opening earliest.. one of my hiring employers says.. '

" I put together a Bonus plan for the salaried employees based upon reaching goals of $300K profit or greater. Both of them did well and are arguing that I owe them more money. This is not true.
They both had side bonuses for doing things like converting customers from competitive accts
to our brand of product. The Rohm and Haas factory used to pay all of this and they dropped the program
Now, they are threatening me to replace this " lost income" . Both of their jobs duties are the same
and they both work out of their homes.

#1 is located in Philadelphia, PA. The new person could be in Philadelphia or the surrounding areas.
Possibly Pittsburgh too. His territory is the Northeast including New England. The western territory
is Pittsburgh; Southernmost is VA and northernmost is Maine. Most of the business is PA, NJ,
DE, CT, VA, NY. He did $1.8 mm in sales last year and the year before. Prior years sales were about
1.3 to 1.4 mm. Responsibilities include: Outside sales to Fortune 500 customers such as Con Edison,
And all the coal generated power plants, the DuPonts, Eastman etc. As

part of the responsibility, the area salesman must supervise or assist in turn key projects.
We provide the equipment, such as pumps or eductors. WE have a staff in Atlanta that usually does this but
it is so simple that once the sales people are trained they do this work themselves. This done maybe 4-6
times a year. Base product is Rohm and Haas Ion exchange resin. This is sold to the Fortune 500 companies
that operate Demineralizers. 80% of sales in the area are R&H ion exchange resin.

Second, Activated Carbon. Our firm Imports its own brand of activated Carbon from China, Mexico,
India and other countries. This product is growing at 50 to 75% a year. A person from Envirotrol (Now Siemens),
Calgon, or Noritt or someone that knows carbon would be a good fit. I honestly can not get # 1 to try and sell
carbon to OEMs or other accounts. Occasionally he will sell carbon to DI protection.

Third, Altair equipment a manufacturer of Demineralizer, Reverse Osmosis systems, which we provide
To the new equipment market.

Fourth, Reverse Osmosis Membranes by Hydranautics or Filmtec and the pre-filter cartridges.
Base salary : $85,000 year plus car, and Aetna Insurance for Medical, laptop and home office equipment,
Bonus system based upon quota and profit. Generally bonus is about $12,000 to $18,000 year.
