Performance Polymers - A leading manufacturer of emulsion and solvent adhesives is seeking an engineer with project and maintenance experience to fill the position of Plant Engineering Manager for their flagship production facility in Central PA.

We are seeking a Plant Engineering Manager to provide technical engineering support to the production staff, and lead the maintenance activities in the plant. This position will also be responsible for overseeing the development, justification, implementation and management of capital projects.

This highly visible position is ideal for an experienced Plant Engineering Manager who is seeking a leadership opportunity in a chemical manufacturing environment. This position will appeal to Plant Engineering Manager .with experience with Manufacturing Improvement Teams, Predictive and Preventive Maintenance, Reliability Engineering, and Quality Engineering.

Key Responsibilities: Provide technical engineering support for manufacturing and facilities management. Develop, implement and manage maintenance and repair projects and initiatives in the plant. Define, justify and manage capital projects in the plant. Develop and maintain departmental administrative and expense budgets.

Provide design, analysis and support to operations . Work with cross-functional teams Work on major operations improvement initiatives Perform equipment selection, justification and implementation . Provide documented training materials and lead hands on training Work on new construction and remodeling activities as needed . Perform project development and implementation

Position Requirements: Required Knowldege, Skills & Abilities BS Chemical or Mechanical Engineering .. (I'd even submit a BSEE with appropriate recent experience in an indust chem facil.) 7+ years experience in plant engineering or project engineering in a production environment. Experience in the chemical industry or a chemical-related industry a MUST,

Experience in Project Management and maintenance of batch chemical production. Knowledge of Predictive and Preventive Maintenance (PPM). Knowledge and experience with root cause analysis. Experience with maintenance of production equipment and processes, as well as utilities and facilities support. Knowledge of PSM
