Project Leader / Chemists (3) Savannah, GA Salary: $60,000 - $100,000 1 Project Leader/Chemist -Inverse Emulsion Products ­ Phases I & II This position involves providing technical support for the operation of our Phase I & Phase II manufacturing units, together with responsibility for their associated Inverse Emulsion based product lines. These units produce inverse emulsion polymers for a broad range of business segments, including the Wastewater Treatment, Paper, Mineral Processing, and Oil Industries.

2 Project Leader/Chemist -Inverse Emulsion Products ­ Phase III This position involves providing technical support for our Phase III manufacturing unit and its associated product lines. This unit produces both Dewatered Emulsion Products and conventional Inverse Emulsions for a variety of business segments including the, Oil, Textile Printing, and Personal Care markets.

3 Project Leader/Chemist ­ Solution Grade Products ­ All Phases This position involves providing technical support for a comprehensive range of solution grade polymer products manufactured at the Riceboro facility. These products are used in a broad range of industrial applications covering a wide range of industries.

BS Chemistry and 5-10 years working experience - minimum of 5 years of that spent working in a technical position in the chemical industry. Familiarity with GPC and LC methods useful. Otherwise exceptional candidates with a minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience will be considered. Direct experience in the R&D, or Manufacture of water soluble polymers would be considered beneficial - polyacrylamide based products in either emulsion or solution trade form would be ideal.

Responsibilities: a) Supervising and directing the work of Chemists and/or Technicians within the Technical Department. b) Providing direct technical support for the manufacture of inverse emulsion or solution products, including assisting plant staff with trouble shooting as and when problems arise. c) Carrying out investigative studies and making recommendations on the appropriate corrective action(s) for process related problems. d) Selection and qualification of raw materials for the supported product ranges. e) The Scale-Up of products from the bench scale, through pilot scale, to full industrial scale production reactors. f) Management of technology transfer, in particular that involving new and/or modified products and processes, from corporate R&D in France. g) The design, development and/or modification of products to required meeting the special requirements of local markets. This activity to be carried out on an 'as and when required' basis. h) Visiting corporate headquarters in France periodically, ( once or twice a year) in order to keep abreast of current corporate technical and commercial initiatives. i) Occasional domestic travel as required to support product lines.

Note: Immediately upon employment, the successful candidates for the above positions will be required to attend a 2-4 week orientation and training program at Corporate HQ in France.
