Geoscientist Oil drill data & reservoir charact.. $150-160 TX 14 Oct 2008

One of my Houston oil patch clients seeks a geological advisor with exper in
drilling operations and reservoir characterization and 3-D imaging. There are NO
candidates now under consideration !

Geoscientist working in Northern Louisiana.. Geological evaluation for reserve
estimation, development drilling and reservoir management. Geological evaluation of
new opportunities for exploitation potential. Interpretations must incorporate geological,
geophysical and engineering data.

Description: Interpret geology to prepare, review and update geological maps, cross
sections or other geological data in order to provide effective input for the management of
properties. Work products should support recommendations for leasing, drilling, recompletion
and workover activity. Interpretations should, where appropriate, incorporate engineering, geophysical
and land data. Oversee the geological evaluation of drilling wells as well as working with the engineering,
land and drilling personnel in order to coordinate an effective, efficient drilling program.

Coordinate the transmittal of geological well data to partners from operated wells and
receipt of geological well data from non-operated wells. Prepare geological exhibits for
presentation at management meetings, regulatory hearings and as support for AFE approval.

Prepare and present geological testimony at regulatory hearings and for presentation
at management meetings. As needed, provide evaluations for outside deals, acquisitions and divestitures.

Requirements: Geological experience and knowledge commensurate with level title.
BS Degree in Geology or Geophysics. Working knowledge of open-hole well logs and log
analysis. Must be a self starter with the motivation to work in a fast paced, multi-task environment.
Must be able to work well in a team environment, coordinating efforts with reservoir and production
engineering, drilling and land department personnel.
- Background in preparing and presenting geological exhibits.
