One of my affiliates has a Texas client seeking :a Director Back End Manufacturing
in Specialty Chemicals Houston $110K-$150K BSCHE minimum required.

Management of Polysilicon (Back End) Production Process and Organization.. The successful
candidate will be responsible for driving and managing the efficient, reliable and safe production
and distribution of the plant’s final product. This must be a hands-on, results-oriented and
totally self-directed manager who will quickly develop an in-depth understanding of the production
process, will identify and eliminate process and organizational inefficiencies in cost, labor and material
usage, and develop and optimize the process and the people in this fast paced, high growth,
in a specialty chemical environment.

This manager will develop, direct and execute initiatives that decisively achieve the objectives in the
areas of safety, environmental compliance, production volumes, quality assurance, and cost control,
while effectively planning , forecasting and administering procedures and budgets (FMC and capital).
The incumbent will also be accountable for prioritization of production schedules, equipment efficiency,
and materials supply, developing long range plans for various area improvements and leading execution of
these plans. Will develop schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas, select, develop,
and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Requirements: B.S. in Chemical Engineering with particular technical competencies in chemistry,
process engineering, production optimization and DCS programming. Minimum 7-10 years in a
specialty or petro chemical plant with hands-on field experience in a management role. Ability to motivate
and lead wage roll and exempts. Ability to schedule and manage product shipments.

Excellent process trouble shooting skills required with ability to trend and analyze data. Ability to address
management concerns, analyze costs, maintain budgets, and prioritize maintenance activities. Excellent
written and Verbal skills with ability to interface with all levels. Extremely high level of concern for safety,
health and environmental. High level of energy, self-initiation and ability to lead and persuade for effective
change. Excellent project management skills
