Maint. Mgr. BSME ms Project Chattanooga $80-100 Will manage all maintenance activities, with optimal utilization of internal and external resources, to ensure smooth execution of both implementation projects and forthcoming operations, in full compliance with company policies and local, state and federal regulations. Direct report to Industrial Director. Network & Links Internal: Operational heads, sourcing department, project managers, External: Suppliers, contractors … Seeks person with exper in heavy overhead cranes with 50-150 ton capacity.

Mission Responsibilities : Maint Mgr is responsible for managing all maintenance activities to meet and anticipate operational requirements. acts to ensure that the guidelines / rules of entire mfg site and from corporate are applied in all disciplines of the responsibilities. Undertakes all best efforts to organize the resources, both internal and external, and build efficient maintenance processes:

Will define maintenance strategy with optimal allocation of scope between expertise to be kept internal and more general expertise to be outsourced. Implement preventive and corrective maintenance plan to secure productivity of installed machines and other equipment. Manage with the support of Sourcing department all maintenance contracts with external suppliers including the monitoring of their performance and ensure continuous cost reduction for a defined scope of work. Effective work organization to ensure support to 7 x 24h operations

Efficient execution of repair tasks as request arises from operations. Set up and manage well structured archives of equipment drawings, O&M manuals and all maintenance documentation including inspection records, including tracking of all changes made to equipment. Accountable for Maintenance cost center (budget, cost control, cost reduction actions …) Implement continual improvement plan and training plan to develop skills and multi-skilling

Provide quality service and maintain cleanness during maintenance activities. Assure that co rules and standards are followed and support action plan to meet Road Map targets. Assure full compliance with all applicable local, state and federal regulations. Accountable for all aspects of people management in Maintenance department with the support of HR department, with a clear objective to create and maintain a fair and performance-oriented work environment through open and transparent communications

During the implementation phase, the Head of Maintenance will also be responsible for separation of utilities between 3 to 4 or more operational groups. Accountabilities Effective maintenance services to secure planned productivity, cost center responsibilities, full compliance with client Enviro Health & Safety rules and standards, as well as with local, state and federal regulations.

Measurement Benchmark European units. Requires Engineering degree.. BSME BSIE BSEE BSCE or similar Relevant and applicable certifications (TPM, Six Sigma, etc) preferred.

Knowledge / Experience Seeks 10 years of maintenance experience in heavy manufacturing sectors, including more than 3 years in a leadership position. Solid knowledge of rules and regulations with respect to Enviro Health & Safety. Thorough knowledge of general maintenance supplier network and maintenance cost structures. Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Access).

Technical skills / competencies: Maintenance certifications, knowledge of labor law (rights & responsibilities) and EHS standards. Behavioral skills / competencies; Management skills and leadership, capability to understand operational requirements and to drive for the definition / implementation of solutions, skills for clear communications, positive and transparent style. Also has strong preference for some project mgt software applications experience similar to MS Project, Primavera or P3 programs.
