One of my affiliates is seeking a Refinery Process Engineer position requires demonstrated technical skills for evaluating and optimizing unit operation, catalyst performance reaction-based systems, and the performance of process equipment that includes pumps, distillation columns, heat exchangers, and fired heaters. Experience in Hydrotreating, gasoline reforming, sulfuric acid alkylation, and in the use of SIMSCI PRO 11 and Hextran process simulation software area a plus. Candidates need to have 2+ years of experience in Petroleum Refining as a Process, Technical Service, or Design Engineer. Plant experience is needed.

The primary duties associated with this position include: Tracking, optimizing and reporting of unit performance relative to operation targets and developing operating for units where none currently exists. This will include Optimization of operating conditions; performing process calculations to evaluate catalyst performance; optimization of process equipment to include pumps, distillation columns, heat exchangers, and fired heaters; and evaluating new feedstocks.
