Dairy Nutrition Specialist Bs Dairy Science $65-70 IL 14 Mar 2009

One of my affiliates has a client which is a world leader in BioEnergy and
has a premier position in the agricultural processing value chain. Client is one of
the worlds largest procescessors of soybeans, corn, wheat and cocoa, and is a
leading mfr of biodiesel, ethanol, soybean oil and meal, corn sweeteners, flour and
other value-added food and feed ingredients. Headquartered in Illinois, has over
26,000 employees, more than 240 processing plants and net sales20for the fiscal
year ended June 30, 2007 of $44 billion.

Their fully-owned subsidiary & national manufacturer of livestock feed has over 40
locations in North America, and is seeking a qualified dairy leader to oin its Innovation
Team (location of the opening is negotiable). This individual will add value to clients
nutritional dairy clients by providing dairy technical leadership within their region; prospecting
for, selling and servicing dairy producers in assigned territory; providing technical training
and support for customers and Sales Reps; and accept shared responsibility for dairy
tonnage targets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1.Provide technical support to dairy nutritionists, consultants, veterinarians and key dairy
industry decision makers

2.Provide support to Dairy nutrition Sales Reps and their customers

3.Design and conduct technical training for Sales Representatives, nutritionists, consultants and dairymen.

4. Develop strategic plan to promote and sell to the US and potentially international dairy
markets & clients proprietary product range.

5. Regularly contact customers and prospects, developing and maintaining positive
customer relationships and adding value through expertise to their business.

6.Provide sound nutritional and management consultation in an effort to enhance
bottom line dairy profitability.

7. Work in concert with the clients Research Team in securing field sites for the
evaluation of research-proven, innovative technologies.

8.Develop and maintain relationships with allied members of the dairy industry.

9.Monitor market place; report on competitive activities and pricing as requested.

REQUIREMENTS Masters Degree (PhD preferred) required with extensive dairy
management and nutrition experience. Successful candidate will have dairy industry/marketplace
knowledge and prior working experience with feed formulation/ration balancing and strong
agricultural business aptitude.

Additional skills include: Able to develop and mmaintainn relationships to nutritionists
and key customers , Demonstrated ability to successfully sell dairy producers food products,
programs and services. Ability to work effectively as a team member with the abiliity to
efffectively train customers and Sales Representatives Must have superior verbal and written
communication skills. Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve, and follow up as required. Sound
computer skills (Microsoft Office applications). Ability to withstand automobile confinement
required to serve the geographic area Exposure to on-farm conditions (i.e. working >around
dairy ccattle, ffarm machinery, etc.) Ability to travel a significant aamount oof time
