One of my clients seeks a One of my clients seeks a Civil Engineering Project Manager This firm is a rapidly growing Post-Tensioning and Stay-Cable construction company. They work as a specialized subcontractor in new bridge construction and as sub or prime for parking garage and other structures repair/strengthening.

Headquarters is located in northern VA. We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage the repair on multiple job sites, primarily in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Duties would include, but are not limited to, managing the site foreman and subordinates, assessing the need for personnel needed on the site and hiring, provide the materials and equipment for each location and will directly report to the Construction Manager.

Responsibilities would include interacting with client and contractual issues, manage site staff, scheduling, production, supplying necessary materials and equipment, give guidance on technical issues and ensuring quality and safety procedures on the job sites.

Requirements include a BS in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 3 to 5 years related experience, preferably in the DC Metropolitan area. Must be familiar with post-tensioning and concrete repair activity; possess knowledge of carbon-fiber and shot-create repair functions.

The company offers a competitive salary and benefits package including two weeks vacation plus sick leave, 10 major holidays plus employee’s birthday, 401k with company matching contributions, Major Medical, Dental, Life and AD&D insurance and much more. Salary $65-85,000 base.
