Thanks for your interest in my services. My fees are based on the base salary accepted by applicants which I generate for your consideration and not on any other benefits such as a hire-in bonus.

My fees are intended to be principally based on the GENERATION of candidates which in my opinion have the qualifications you seek, and which candidate you then have opportunity to personally interview at your leisure, and on whom you are expected to check references, or ask me to check them for you.

Fees are NOT earned by extended psychological tests, aptitude testing, nor upon checking credit history, police record, medical records, academic history, nor family history, any of which I can and will do, but only upon request subsequent to a personal interview by you of the candidate. I do not check referrences until interest has been expressed by the hiring employer.

My fees are earned additionally by any of the following:

  • Candidate generation often based on my tracking of thousands of candidates over decades. My database numbers 53,540 candidates, searchable by name, city, state, education, college, employer, title, salary, spoken language, etc.
  • I have 21,790 resumes on disc, of which 3725 have detailed cover letters, and can search all of them at once for any single word or phrase or use boolean logic, and have the result in less than a minute. This is the most powerful tool I have ever seen or used, in 40 years in recruitment.
  • Contacting candidate by phone or by one of 3500 emails per day (average) or 30 (plus) letters per day via US mail to candidates last known address.
  • Calls to prior employers to get comprehensive job specs in attempt gain sufficient understanding to begin to search for candidates so that interviews may occur. Other techniques for locating candidates which techniques fall under 'trade secrets'.
  • Sharing information daily with dozens of other recruiting firms and agents from coast to coast. I have access to over 3700 recruiting firms, and have spoken with hundreds of them personally and via email over the last several years.
  • Clarification of objectives and details and locational preferences and restreictions not found in resume.
  • Determining motivation and priorities, assistance in cover letter and resume composition, and prioritization of objectives.
  • Opening, processing, formatting, archiving an average 25 electronic resumes per day, and responding via mail to get additional details on salary, location, objectives, industry preferences, etc.
  • Posting comprehensive written job specs on my website and downloading emailed resumes from the Internet. ( 10+ hours in Nov 2007)
  • Word processing, reformatting and printing and archiving these resumes, often until near midnight several days per week.
  • Taking calls at my home at all hours of the day or nignt from all over the country.
  • Counseling on salary negotiations and interview processes with employers.
  • Counseling about market realities, and interview techniques.
  • Calling prospective employers like you from extensive databases which I maintain using software of my design, and created at my expense, enhanced at $65.00 per hour over last 35 years.
  • Making presentations, setting and confirming interviews, giving directions to clients' interview sites.
  • Followup with EMPLOYER after interviews, clarifying issues and viewpoints, background, attitudes, mgt skills, etc.
  • Checking references when asked by EMPLOYER, (usually after personal interview) and maintaining communications between EMPOYER and APPLICANT, when employer returns my phone calls.

Services not agreed upon in advance are not implied. Offer to my candidate is prima facie evidence that I have produced tangible results, and acceptance of offer by my candidate constitutes legal obligation for payment of fee, no matter what level of service was desired or obtained.

It is EMPLOYERS responsibility to insure start of employment after acceptance of your offer. AGENCY shall try to uncover misrepresentation in any form, and to make any such misrepresentation known to EMPLOYER in all cases. Thorough and rigorous reference checking always suggested. No fee shall be negotiated after acceptance of your offer by my candidate. Time is the essence of this contract. I am willing to consider the extension of other efforts in reference checking, upon your written request.

REPLACEMENT - If an employee secured through Agency leaves your firm of his / her own volition, or terminates within first 60 calendar days of employment, the following policy will apply. Agency will make its best effort to replace employee at no additional charge to employer. We make replacements only and do not make refunds. If you do not feel that my referral will stay long enough to justify the fee... simply do not make the offer !

TERMS - Replacement policy is contingent upon entire fee being received by agency within 10 days of starting date of employment. Agency must be notified in WRITING within 10 days of termination. I understand and agree to terms of payment which include wire transfer into Alpha Systems account within 10 days of commencement of employment, such routing and account number to be supplied on invoice.

Acceptance of resumes and/or referrals from ALPHA SYSTEMS,Inc. constitutes full acceptance of my fee schedule.

Alpha Systems will not generally e-mail resumes nor contact any applicant for any firm until writen contract is received on firms letterhead indicating that this fee schedule has been received, and an authorized employee of the firm agrees to the terms and conditions specified therein.
